The Netflix Free Trial is currently 2 weeks long, during which time you can rent as many movies as you want during that period. You gain access to 100,000 available DVD titles at Netflix, and have the option to cancel membership whenever you want. On top of being able to rent DVDs by mail, if you buy an unlimited plan (starting at .99) you are entitled to watch movies INSTANTLY on your TV as many times as you want, as long as you have a Netflix ready device, which you may already have. Netflix ready devices include common devices such as Playstation, Xbox, or Blu-Ray players, along with other devices. If you do not have a Netflix ready device, you can still watch these movies over your PC or Mac. This service is a great bonus since it gives you access to 17,000 titles, and is completely free as long as you are signed up for an unlimited plan.
How Netflix Works

Online movie rental is my latest dependency. There are simply too many advantages to pass up: I pay for flicks once per month, and I pay a flat fee; I choose my monthly based on how many movies I want to rent at any given time; DVD’s are shipped directly to my door; I can avoid the hassle and expense of video store rentals (because who among us ONLY gets a movie?); and there are never any late fees.
