Who was Marie Antoinette?

Marie Antoinette was an Archduchess of Austria and Queen of France and of Navarre. When she was just fourteen, on the day of her marriage to Louis-Auguste, Dauphin of France, she became Dauphine de France. At the death of Louis XV, in May of 1774, Louis-Auguste became Louis XVI, and teen Marie Antoinette became the Queen of France and of Navarre. After seven years of marriage, she gave birth to a daughter, Marie-Thérèse-Charlotte de France, who was the first of their four children. Marie Antoinette was not loved by the French people. Eventually, she was beheaded.
