Esteemed actor and Hollywood icon, Brad Pitt, has a lengthy and extensive list of credits in his acting career. The complete Brad Pitt movie list spans as early as his first serious role in 1988s The Dark Side of The Sun (released in 1997) up to his most recent work in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

The early Brad Pitt movie list contained two movies in which he had unaccredited roles, Less Than Zero (1987) as a partygoer, and in No Man’s Land (1987) as a waiter. In the following two years, he took roles in several television series until 1989 when he had minor roles in Cutting Class as Dwight Ingalls and in Happy Together as Brian.

A major Hollywood movie that motivated Brad’s career was Thelma and Louise (1991), in which Brad had a short part. The most memorable scene was when Brad’s partially nude character created a whole new fan base of followers. In the ensuing period, the Brad Pitt movie list would grow with starring roles and leads in nine more films until 1995′s Se7en and Tweleve Monkeys later released that same year. The two of these films featured Brad Pitt’s extensive acting capacity and helped drive his career over the next five years culminating with his box office hit Oceans Eleven part.

Entering the new millenium, the Brad Pitt movie list would reveal more than a half dozen hits that would bring in over 100 million dollars each worldwide in box office receipts. These exceptional movies included Troy, Ocean’s Twelve and Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

Presently the Brad Pitt movie list has two huge hits including Burn after Reading and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, for which he received an Oscar nomination for Best Lead Actor. Both of these films hit the big screen in late 2008, and prove that Brad is still a hot Hollywood commodity. It is reported that Brad commands at least 20 million dollars per movie, a far cry from his first big role which paid a little more than 10,000 dollars some 20 years earlier.

Although Brad has admitted he does not know how many more movies he has in him, the future Brad Pitt movie list will include 11 projects that he currently has in the works. In some of these projects Brad’s capacity will be as a producer rather than an actor, nevertheless, his ‘brand name’ still has value in Hollywood circles, whether he has a starring role or as a producer.

The future Brad Pitt movie list includes Inglorious Bastards, filmed in Germany and to be released in late 2009, where Brad will play the part of Lt. Aldo Raine, and The Tree of Life, also with a potential release date in late 2009.
