Have you been to see the new Harry Potter film? I went to the see the film last night with my fiancée and two children. My two children were very eager to watch the film and were rather excited as we travelled to the cinema. In this article I will be writing our own personal review of the film.

Now to start with I would have to say that I am glad I went to watch the film; it is something to discuss with your friends and work colleagues at least. I will not be buying the film on DVD however. Why not? Well I have to say we all felt very disappointed with it; it was far too long for the amount of real action that was included within the film; it was as if they were just trying to do some form of “filler”. I have to say that the overall impression that we came away with was that this film was just a way of making a great deal of money; such a shame and such a waste.

There was a young boy a few seats away from me who fell asleep with around thirty minutes remaining – if that boy is reading this article I can tell you that you did not miss much.

I am not a film reviewer, I do many things in life but this is not one of them. I am in fact a stammering therapy coach, I also work on other projects to do with catering equipment UK and cost reduction.

Now you may read in various newspaper reviews that this film is “outstanding” or “the best ever”; these are the types of adjectives that these journalists like to use. I have a question for these people; how old are you? OK so you are not a child then? This is mainly a children’s film and I have to say that the type of comments that I received from my children were as follows:

“I thought the film was never going to end”

“This was my least favourite of all of the Harry Potter films”

“There was not enough action in the film”

“It was too long”

On a more positive note the film was quite funny in parts and also quite sad at other times. The special effects were also quite impressive.

You might miss a trick when you purchase an LCD TV. All is fine and dandy, you’ve checked the configuration of the TV, you’re pleased with it’s HD capabilities, you’ve figured out the remote and setup your freeview. But have you hung it up properly on the wall?

What you need, before you get to this stage, is to look through some LCD TV brackets and to have the right one ready to roll when you get home. There’s nothing worse than having a brand new toy boxed and ready to go but not being able to use it fully because you’re missing one vital piece of kit. Having your wall mounted bracket on hand will save you the headache of sorting out the mess later. Ideally you’ll have installed lcd TV wall bracket before your LCD TV even arrives. If you’re installing it onto plaster board you’ll need wall plugs to keep it from falling off into nothingness. There’s loads of brackets you can choose from, but in our experience it’s better to fork out slightly more money on a fully movable bracket. People often think they won’t want to move their TV once it’s installed, but a time will come when you want to move it for some reason. It will probably involve a Nintendo Wii..

One thing that’s so often overlooked after buying a flatscreen TV is thinking about how and where you’re going to hang it. You may have some ideas on were abouts you intend to put the TV, but did you consider exactly how you’re going to put it there? What you need is a plasma wall mount bracket, and a little bit of know-how and your TV will be off the floor and on your wall in no time.

Installing plasma TV brackets is childsplay. I say that because I’ve done it so many times myself. A crucial part is choosing the correct bracket for the job, and arguably, the sheer number of brackets to choose is somewhat of a minefield. Just make sure you ask your supplier for loads of advice, they (should) know the TV models inside out. Tell them what you’ve got and you should get all sorts of options back; a flat panel bracketcan fit snugly to the wall, some move up and down, and brackets with full motion for pointing your TV any which way you please.

Getting a bracket with full motion is the best solution to go for. People often think they’ll never want to move their TV once it’s installed but I guarantee that a moment will one day come when you say “we should have got the bracket that lets you move it!and you’ll kick yourself. It will probably involve a Wii.

Once you’ve got your bracket, installing will be much easier than you might think. You only need to drill a few holes but if you’re fitting it to plasterboard you need to plug the holes with wall plugs. {Fix the bracket to the wall, screw in the screws, and slip on your plasma screen}. This stuff is (almost) easy enough for your children to do it!

Cast includes Jaume Serra, Elisha Cuthbert, Brian Holt, Paris Hilton, Jared Padalecki, Jon Abrahams, Robert Richard, and Damon Herriman. R (105 minutes, 2005)

The Matrix Revolutions: Outside the matrix, humans battle valiantly against the onslaught of Sentinals. Meanwhile Neo is inside the matrix, trying to get to the source, and stop the devastation from within. Neo eventually confronts the Deux Ex Machina, and makes a deal to stop the war. His confrontation with Smith will decide the fate of both civilizations, and his true destiny.

The Foxes of Harrow: Lavish however lumbering story of philanderer splitting up his matrimony to seek wealth and popularity in New Orleans in 1820. Cast includes Rex Harrison, Maureen O’Hara, Richard Haydn, Champ McLaglen, Vanessa Brown, Patricia Medina, and Gene Lockhart. (117 minutes, 1947)

Foxtrap: Low-spending limit action movie of Wil1iamson employed to bring absconder Owen back home from Europe to her clan. Little more than a style show by controller Williamson spotlighting his top choice performer. Cast includes Fred Williamson, Chris Connelly, Arlene Golonka, Donna Owen, Beatrice Palme, Cleo Sebastian, and Lela Rochon. (88 minutes, 1986)

The Hole: Secluded school scholar Birch trips onto campus once she and associate classmates have been missing for over 2 weeks. She informs a story of how she and 3 adolescents ditched a weekend territory trip to hang out in an underground bunker only to find their selves snared and at the lenity of a bothered mind. Birch’s complicated behavior is the best part of this boring mental terror film. Cast includes Discharged direct to video in the U.S. in 2004. Cast includes Thom Birch, Desmond Harrington, Daniel Brocklebank, Laurence Fox, Keira Knightley, and Embeth Davidtz. (102 minutes, 2001)

Born On The Fourth Of July: A true story that chronicles the life of Ron Kovic. A volunteer in the army, Ron does a tour in Vietnam, where he suffers injuries that leave him paralyzed. After his disturbing treatment by the government, and harrowing experiences in VA hospitals, Ron becomes an anti war activist. He feels completely betrayed by the country that he fought for.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse OF The Black Pearl: Elizabeth, the daughter of the Jamaican Governor, has been kidnapped by the crew of the Black Pearl. She is needed to lift a curse of the old ship. Elizabeth’s friend Will, who is completely in love with her, gets pirate captain Jack Sparrow to help him rescue her.

Saw: Two men are trapped in a room. Both men are chained to their half of the room. A story unfolds as these two people are given clues and information about the situation they are in and why. Can they solve the puzzle and get out alive?

There was a time when Hollywood shunned comic book materials like the epidemic.  With average renditions of classic characters such as the Punisher, Captain America, and even the Fantastic Four – the latter two being worse that they ended up as direct-to-video issues – Hollywood has gotten the idea that comic book materials do not command an audience that is big enough to ensure a blockbuster.

Bryan Singer took comic book’s number one franchise, the X-Men, and created a great flick out of the same.  The result is a trilogy that gathered billions of dollars in profit.

This will probably be one of the best dvd movies.

Austin Powers In Goldmember: Austin is back, and this time he faces not only Dr. Evil, but also a new threat in Goldmember. Dr. Evil is traveling through, and Austin is on the chase. He must save his father Nigel from being captured by Dr. Evil.

Old School: Three friend now in their thirties long for the good old days. They want to go back to their college days. They decide to start an off campus frat house, and live out their college days again.

Ice Age: The Meltdown: This animation comedy adventure features Manny, the wooly mammoth, Diego, the saber toothed tiger Sid, the sloth, and Scrat, the squirrel, as they continue to deal with a fast changing world, as the ice melts around them. They meet Ellie, Crash, and Eddie, three possums. The strange thing is that Ellie is actually a wooly mammoth that is convinced she is a possum. Together they work to survive the floods that are coming.

Larceny Inc.: Humorous little comedy of ex-cons Robinson, Crawford, and Brophy utilizing a luggage store as a front for their operation. A scoundrel palyed by Quinn tries to horn in. Look for Jackie Gleason in a minute role as a soda jerk. Cast includes Edward G. Robinson, Jane Wyman, Broderick Crawford, Jack Carson, Anthony Quinn, and Edward Brophy. (95 minutes, 1942)

Million Dollar Baby: Maggie Fitzgerald is a middle-aged woman with a dream. She is determined to become a championship boxer, and she just won’t quite. She needs Frankie, a local boxing trainer to help. He is reluctant at first, but Maggie’s unstoppable spirit sweeps him in.

Mr. Nice Guy: Jackie, a Television cook!, is chased by 2 sets of poor gentlemen who are after an incriminating videotape that’s fallen into his hands. One of Jackie’s more superior later films, set in Melboume and, like most of his best films, an action comedy. Shimmering and arousing quarrels abound, the best and funniest orchestrated at a construction site. Only the apex, engaging a massive truck leveling out a luxury home, is underneath par for the amazing Mr. Chan. Controller Samo, Jackie’s lifelong buddy, has a cameo as an annoyed bicyclist. Cast includes Jackie Chan, Richard Norton, Miki Lee, Karen McLymont, Gamelle Fitzpatrick, and Vince Poletto. (113 minutes, 1997)

Tombstone: Lawman Wyatt Earp is ready to retire. He has successfully cleaned up the streets of Dodge City, and moves to Tombstone. There he meets up with his brothers, and longtime friend Doc Holiday. With a band of outlaws, called The Cowboys, are running wild in the region. This sets up the infamous shoot out at the OK Coral.

Digimon the Movie: 3 small tales discharged as theatrical briefs in Japan based on the energized Television succession are strung together to form a “film. A nick more superior than the Pokemon films, with a standout pattern in the middle zone as digital beasts battle in a surreal information superhighway planet. Cast includes Hisashi Nakayama, Masabiro Aizawa, Joshua Seth, Bob Glouberman, and Mona Marshall. (82 minutes, 2000)

The Silence Of The Lambs: The F.B.I is trying to hunt down a serial killer. They are getting nowhere and time is running short. They decide to ask captured serial killer Hannibal Lecter, one of the most brilliant and disturbed minds killer ever caught, to help them with the crime. Although they take every precaution, Hannibal uses this need to ask favors from the F.B.I. They eventually find the killer, but at the cost of seeing Hannibal escape custody.

Stage Struck: Blurred redo of Afternoon GLORY retelling the ascent of Broadway-confined actress. Aiding cast hindered by unconvincing Strasberg in steel role and by fictional show planet environment. Cast includes Henry Fonda, Susan Strasberg, Joan Greenwood, Christopher Plummer, and Herbert Marshall. (95 minutes, 1958)

The Last Samurai: This is a true epic story of a lost soldier who winds up fighting a war in a far away land. Hired by the emperor of Japan to train his army, he is quickly captured by the Samurai he was training the army to defeat. Living amongst these great people he comes to believe in the way of the Samurai. He winds up fighting on their side, with all of his heart.

U.S. Marshall: Mark Sheridan has been accused of murder. When the prisoner transport plane he is on crashes, he escapes. He is now free, but running from U.S. Marshall Sam Gerard. We learn that Mark Sheridan is no murderer at all. Can he prove his innocence before they hunt him down?

The Incredibles: This is an animated, family oriented, adventure movie. Bob Parr, a.k.a. Mr. Incredible, and his wife used to be superheroes, saving lives on a daily basis. Years later they have given up that life and are living a normal life in the suburbs. When Bob receive a mysterious message that summons him to an island in the middle of nowhere, Mr. Incredible is reborn.

Rush Hour 2: Lee and Carter are off to Hong Kong for some rest and relaxation after their last adventure. Upon arriving in Hong Kong they are told that a bomb has gone off in the American Embassy. Two U.S. customs agents are dead. The Triads are the key suspects, and immediately Lee and Carter are drawn into action.

Nightmare on Elm Street Four: Refreshed by flaming mutt urine I, Freddy Krueger ultimately slaughters all the kids of those who initially burned him to mortality, and looks for new adolescents to terrorize, although he’s protested by a “fantasy master,” his metaphysical counterpart. Succession was showing its age by this point, with lavish outcomes, an object tale, and far too numerous jokes. A 1989 continuation and Television succession followed. Cast includes Renny Harlin, Robert Englund, Rodney Eastman, Danny Hassel, Andras Jones, Tuesday Horseman, Toy Newkirk, Ken Sagoes, Brooke Theiss, and Lisa Wilcox. (92 minutes, 1988)
